Circa 1949 PEDESTAL DROP LEAF MAHOGANY table & 4 chairs marked "BASSETT" and a made to order table pad.
Size: 51X38X30H Duncan Phyfe style Pedestal drop leaf Table & 4 harp back chairs w/cloth covered seats. Table has frieze silverware drawer and custom fitted sectional pad.
Drop Leaf Table Cherry or Mahogany Pedestal 4 feet 51" open x 38" w x 30" high; 2 leaves Fold down to 38" x 19" w/a spring; has a silverware drawer one end w/dividers. Feet have brass covers. 4 Harp back chairs w/roses floral covers (not needlepoint). Table & chairs came from Bassett Furniture of VA & were sold to L. Litwin of Washington D.C. (see original tag) then purchased by my parents (who lived in Washington DC until 1949 then moved to VA). Chairs have the original tag. Table Pad included was CUSTOM made to fit this table.

There may be a few very lite scratches to tabletop & possibly a few dings to the chairs but considering its age it is in very good condition & would make a lovely addition to your home.
